Getting Up Close With My Quilting - Special Area Quilting
This quilt was designed to look like a green hedge and a maze like in the story Alice in Wonderland.
My customer asked me to quilt on the green with a leaf design and pebbles or stones in the light areas.
The special area quilting really sets off the sections of the quilt.
I quilted wavy lines in the outside border.
A view of the back side of the quilt.
and a full view of the quilt.
My customer won a Big Ribbon for Best of Show for this quilt in the Lodi Ag Fair. Congratulations Trish! It is a beautiful quilt!
Enjoy your day!

I shared photos of my quilt inspectors. I had them test to see if my denim quilt with wool batting was going to keep us warm in the Wisconsin Winters months.
They were right --- It kept us warm all winter!
Enjoy your day!
