Missouri Star Block
and the Quartered Star Block
Cool two blocks completed.
Next, I did the paper pieced Schoolhouse Block.
I really wanted the lines of the fabric of the roof to go in the other direction, but I forgot when you do paper piecing it's on the back and opposite. It's OK!
Needs to be squared up! Because I am using all the different fabrics, some of them give a little more than others.
I am a LouAnn's Quilt Retreat this week. She has a great design wall. They are not in any particular order. I just placed them on the wall.
Linda is also doing the My Favorite Block Quilt Along. We put them up side by side! Cool!
I will update you on my progress tomorrow. I hope to finish it by tonight!
I am enjoying my sewing retreat time with friends this week. It makes me think about the May for Me Celebration Next week, I will post more about my plans and giveaways for the May for Me Celebration.
Enjoy your day!

both projects are looking great
ReplyDeleteI so love home to stick to a basic color scheme. I wish I had that kind of discipline
ReplyDeleteThanks for the paper piecing reminder. I've got a house block to piece and would have done it backward! Now I can safely do it. Love your blue and white!
ReplyDeleteSo many FUN blocks! Love it!
ReplyDeleteOh, what fun. I'm glad you are having a good time with your friends and getting lots done. I love your blue blocks, it's my favorite color too. I love May For Me, that's where I found you last year! Have fun!
