Getting Up Close to my Quilting - BIG Bubble Quilting




It is not just over all Bubble Quilting.  See how I quilted smaller bubbles in the small strip of squares.

Flipping the back over, so you can see the back of it.



The bubbles really soften the sharp lines of the squares.  It really gives it a fun and whimsical feel!


 My customer requested washable wool batting.  It has a little bit of loft and gives it a little fluff!

    What a great idea for a quilting design! Especially like the variety of 'bubble' sizes. Beautiful quilt, too. Is here a brand of wool batting that can be successfully machine dried? Haven't used any wool yet, but am looking forward to trying it.
