Getting Up Close with My Quilting - Thread Painting




I started with 3 thread colors and ending up using about 6.  I selected to use more colors on the fish scales and more greens on the seaweeds.  I added more greys to the rocks too.  




Up close to the fish and the scales and the bubbles.














Up close to the seaweed and the rocks.









 And up close to the backside of the quilt.













I really enjoy Thread Painting on the raw edge applique'.


 The Quilt Pattern is Swim Team by McKenna Ryan.
