Of course, I said YES - I can fit you in!
Her granddaughters decoupaged the fabric on to the cast last night. She bought some paint markers in gold, silver, and white and came to my house for her quilting date. We sat at the kitchen table and kept trading places as I added the stitching with the markers.
I started "stitching" with the markers....
I added all her granddaughter's names as they made the quilt --- I just quilted it!
I took an Ussie or a Selfie, but at this point Thankful's arm was under my arm, as I was drawing on the stitches on the underpart of the cast.
The gold, silver, and white made for a nice combination for the quilting.
As I said, "My Quilting Job is never boring!"
Enjoy May with my friends!

ReplyDeleteThat is such a great idea and I love the way it turned out. I hope I never need a cast but if I do, I know that it will get a custom do-over too.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for the cast. Hope I never need to use that idea.
ReplyDeleteWow ! Now that is a cool and very unique cast. I hope I never break any more bones but I'll have to remember that next time someone else does.
