I love these little wall hangings. I can't seem to stop making them once I start. I love cutting out all the little pieces and I especially love quilting them. It's like I am coloring. This one is called Blanche the Garden Angel from Patch Abilities Wall hangings.
I call mine "Miss Molly" ! I particularly like the swirly curly hair on my Miss Molly! Her boots remind me of my hiking boots from college. I not only wore them to hike up on Rib Mountain, but I also wore them to class everyday in the winter. It was very cold in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. They kept my toes nice and warm.
Maybe that is what it is about these wall hangings... I see something in them that brings back a fond memory.

You are too generous my dear - I am in awe of your 'ribbons' quilting.
ReplyDeleteI love Blanche. I can relate to her hair. LOL
ReplyDeleteI will blog about your giveaway today.
I am a follower and would leave the quilting design up to you. Thanks for the opportunity to enter your great giveaway.
ReplyDeleteCute wallhanging. That curly hair is just the sort one is tempted to pull just enough to watch it spring back. Thanks for the givewaway chance.
ReplyDeleteOh how adorable Blanche is! You are totally awesome. And generous. So ener me in teh drawing.
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower and would also say I'd leave the design up to you altho a simple meandering suits me fine.
ReplyDeleteLove your work. I would have to decide on the quilt first. Too many finished tops that I am scared to quilt.
ReplyDeleteI am a follower, Marcia. I hate to sound cheap, but I would probably want the least expensive freestyle quilting!
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI love the hair on your wallhanging. I'm not sure what I would pick. If I win, I'll send you my quilt and we can talk about it. :)
I am a new follower. (Glad to have found you via Quilty Giveaways). I don't know about the quilting pattern. I'd want to talk about it I guess!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
I am a new follower. I choose a overall stipple with heart shapes thrown in here and there.
