Getting Up Close with My Quilting - Another Double-Triple Bubble - Large Bubbles

This is another customer's quilt.  It's a large baby quilt with a minkee backing fabric.  I chose to do a large double-tripe bubble quilting, as I wanted a loose quilting because of the minkee backing fabric.
 The bubbles are about 2 inches to 4 inches in diameter.




 The bubbles really add a cool 3 D look to the quilt.  Makes it whimsical and fun!
 My customer was very happy and the new Mom will love it too!

    Very cute quilting - babies are bubbly! And the puff minkie is so super soft - love that for a backing.

    I love the effects of the bubble quilting! What a great look! I might try it in the future but it won't look as perfect as yours!!

    Thanks for the photos and the inspiration....love the bubbles! I want to try this soon! I have been gifted with some minkee and some fleece for backing baby quilts....I appreciate knowing a good way to work with it - thanks!

    Great job! I'd have trouble keeping the bubbles round I think - may have to practice and try it on a quilt sometime soon :*)
