Quilts Built by Imagination

The quilted table runner represents tall buildings with lots of windows.  When I traveled to San Francisco, a couple years ago, I got to see the colorful narrow houses.  They are pretty cool!

The place mat was made by cutting my leftover fabric scraps into squares of different sizes to represent the colorful buildings in Italy.
You can see the photos for my inspiration on Tuesday's post - Build With Your Imagination and the beginning of my quilted project.  Saturday's post shares more of the work in progress. I called it Building Your Vivid Imagination.
The wavy lines are the roads in between the houses.

Combining the elements in both photos, I used my imagination to create the quilts - "Quilts Built by Imagination".

Thanks you Kim at Kim's Crafty Apple for inspiring me to create!  Kim is hosting Project Quilting. Hop over and check it out!

Enjoy your day!
Marcia

I gave the long table runner to my sister-in-law, because she hosts all the family meals! Thanks Julie!
