Hodgepodge Patchwork Tuesday - Information, Thank You's, and Stuff!

My Mom is visiting this week and we are working on the green donation quilt.  Later in the week or next week Tuesday, I will share the courthouse round quilt pattern.  (Next week, because I have to write it all down for you). It is fun and easy to make. Perfect for a donation quilt made from scraps.

I will be participating in a Blog Hop Giveaway hosted by the Quilting Gallery.
I pre registered my two blogs.  You must pre register in order to host a giveaway in the blog hop. It starts on the 17th. The Blog Hop Party List will be available at the Quilting Gallery. The Giveaways will run thru' the 23rd.
I am hosting a giveaway here and on my Lunch Looks Like A Quilt to Me Blog!

I won these cool erasable pens from PJ at Off Avondale Road Blog when I entered her giveaway.  It was from the Leap Day Blog Hop Giveaway at Such a Sew and Sew.  When I quilt, I don't mark with chalk or pens, so I probably won't use them for my free style quilting. I am sure they will come in very handy when I am thread painting.  I use a pen to mark where I need to stitch and I think these pens will work perfectly.  Thanks PJ for the wonderful prize!  Thanks Elizabeth for hosting the Hop.

There is one more Project Quilting Challenge that will be announced on Sunday at noon.  It will be the 6th challenge.
Project Quilting has inspired me to create! It makes me think outside the box, or block as it relates to quilting. These are projects One thru' Five. There are links in my sidebar to the posts about each project.
Hop over and check out the challenge on Sunday. You too can be inspired by Project Quilting.
Enjoy your day!
Marcia

I hope that you like these marking pens as much as I do. The marks just iron off so easily. I think they will also work great with free motion embroidery.
