I thought it would be cool to take some close ups of the "Curly Hair" Quilting on my Streaming Stars Quilt in the full sun.
I am not sure if I have the settings correct, but it really made the quilting stand out. I have also realized you can see so much more detail. Wow!
The camera even has a setting that takes better photos under the bright florescent lights in my quilting studio.
This is the back of the quilt.
Look how big the stitches looks!
and a full view.
It measures 12" by 46".
My friend, Tisha designed the pattern. The pattern is called Stars and Shadows. She taught it as a Mini Quilt Class at Quilts by Barb's Quilt Retreat 2 years ago. I completed the quilt top at the retreat and I finally quilted it in November. I named mine - Streaming Stars. The sun wasn't shining on the wall hanging in next photos and it was hanging on the wall. It was a bright sunny day. What a difference in the way the quilting looks.
You can barely see the quilting from this angle.
I didn't crop out my kitchen in this photo, so you can see where I hung the wall hanging.
I entered the Streaming Stars Wall Hanging in the Weekly Themed Quilt Show at Quilting Gallery.
If you would like to view all the Star Quilts and vote for your favorites - Click Here. Voting is from Friday Morning to Sunday night. Update: Voting ended but you can still hop over and check out her weekly themed contests every week.

I have registered and I will be hosting a Giveaway on my blog for the Blog Hop Party starting December 9th.
This is my post for Can I Get a Whoop Whoop? Linky Party.
My Streaming Stars Wall Hanging is my big finish for the week!
Yippee!
So back to the photos... with this new camera there will be a learning curve...Please bare with me, as I learn how to take new and improved photos! It takes me awhile to learn new things!
Some have asked what kind of camera I got. My new camera is a Cannon Power Shot ELPH 300 HS.
Enjoy your weekend!
