Getting Up Close with Special Swirl Quilting on a Pin Wheel Quilt
A customer's baby quilt with special swirls in each pin wheel. I quilted the border with wiggle lines shadowing the pin wheels.
I connected each swirl with a wiggle line.
Really a fun way to quilt a pin wheel quilt. It makes it spin!
Enjoy your day!

That's an absolutely beautiful quilt. Your quilting is amazing!
Yes, the swirling in the pinwheels really adds to the movement of the quilt. Love how you did the border, too.
Wonderful colors and patterns!

Beautiful!!! I love the swirls.
Love how you connected the swirls! I have a twister quilt to do so I may do just what you did! Thanks!!!
Wow,this quilt is so springy and cheery :)
The quilting in the little twister pinwheels is lovely! Perfect for the quilt. Thank you for sharing.
Those swirls just really add to the quilt!
I LOVE the quilting you have done on your pinwheels!

That's really pretty, the quilt and the quilting. I started to quilt my whirligig by echo quilting inside each shape . . . On my sewing machine. SO much turning, I wish I'd never started!!
Beautiful quilt.
Regards and best wishes
this is lovely!! love the swirls and the border squiggles
I like the swirls in the pinwheels. Really nice job.
Beautiful quilt. I love the way you have quilted it. I didn't know what to do on my last Twister, now you have inspired me to try another one.
My gosh this is so beautiful! Your quilting always adds so much! Thanks for showing how you connected the swirls!
I love this pattern and your quilt looks awesome! The swirly quilting is a great idea, it really makes the quilt! Congratulations, job well done!
Well done! the quilting really made that quilt!
Beautiful quilting you've done on that quilt. Do you know what fabric that was used for this quilt by chance? I recognize it but my mind is showing its age at the moment.
The quilting pattern really adds to the quilt as a whole.
I am handquilting a freestyle quilt right now. I enjoy the handwork, though someday I'd like to send one off to be machine quilted!
Lovely photos!
I can't even begin to think how long it must have taken to quilt all of that. The finished result looks fantastic!! You really have an amazing talent!! =D
I am almost speechless...not only is the quilt beautiful...your quilting is spectacular. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Amazing! Those swirls are beautiful and I love the twirls!
Gorgeous! I love every bit of it. Absolutely breathtaking!
I hopped over hear from Tonya's blog. There's a possibility you and I are related--I'm going to be quilting a twister quilt for our prayer quilt ministry, and I've been planning very similar twisted ribbons! "Great minds....." etc.
