It's Hard to Say Good Bye...

I think our smiles say it all!

What a delightful Quilt Retreat!

Don't be sad, because something is over...
be glad you did it!

I am tired, BUT revitalized with sewing and quilting energy!  I went to bed early and I woke up early.  The sun is shining and I am ready for a full day of quilting! I was in the company of two wonderful friends who are inspired by quilting also.
LouAnn has several photos posted on her facebook page at LouAnn's Quilt Garden and Retreat Center.  She has beautiful quilts on every bed, spacious sewing area, and a wonderful quilt shop!

I still have more of my UFO's to do this week during the evenings, after I am done working,(quilting). I will post as I complete them and share some tutorials.

In the last hour of the retreat, I made another zipper bag to go with my large zipper bag...  a bonus project!
I used some quilted fabric that I had quilted in 2010.

Now I have a set of bags.  Maybe I will make another bag later this week and make the bags - Nesting Bags! I will share the tutorial also.

Thanks for following along...

Enjoy your day!

I was Featured on Friday... But Didn't Know it Until Sunday!

I was "Caught" ....that is the way Gail says it!
What a wonderful surprise!
Thanks Gail!

I just returned from a wonderful 4 Day Quilting Retreat, so I just found out!  I had my computer along, but I was so busy sewing and posting about all my UFO sewing projects that I missed a comment Gail left on one of my posts.
Gail commented:
I love recycled denim projects!
yours turned out great.

Woven Basket - Project Number 9

This is the last completed project at the quilting retreat.  It is a Biscuit Basket.
We will only be here til noon and then we are on the road headed home.  I will continue to sew at home today and this week...

This is not a tutorial ... Just photos of the steps.  I used the Biscuit Basket pattern by Aunties Two*

I plan to finish projects 8 and 10 and 12 and 13 at home - hopefully in the evenings this week.  I will post when I complete them.

Thanks for following along...This was a great way to complete all my UFO's!

Enjoy your day!

P.S. I will answer all your comments and questions on Monday and Tuesday. I will also post tutorials over the next couple weeks about any of the projects that were my creations.  I will also share the information about any of the other patterns I purchased. Thanks! I love your comments!
