Sprouts Quilt

I titled my quilt "Sprouts"! I decided that was very appropriate since it was made from the scraps of a large quilt.

I took it outside this morning for some daylight photos. It was was overcast and sprinkling a bit.

Even though it was cloudy, they turned out pretty good.

Took at few photos in my favorite spot from the upper deck looking down. It made a perfect background, as we haven't shoveled it yet.

I stitched the binding on late last night.

I stitch it to the back side of the quilt and wrap it around to the front and then embroidery stitch it on.

Up close of the embroidery stitching.

When I quilted it, I stitched in my name and year and PQS6Ch3 in the bottom right hand corner.

Even took a photo with more snow on the quilt!

I am linking this up over a Persimons Dreams - Project Quilting.

Thanks for following along!

Wonderful quilt Marcia! Sprouts is a perfect name for it. The quilting is lite yet gives lovely texture to it. I like to use the wavy lines on the borders too.

This came out lovely. And snow does make a fantastic backdrop, even on a cloudy day. You've got one of my votes!
