Getting Up Close with Special Area Quilting - Paths of Life Quilt

Wavy quilting lines that overlap on the outside borders and skinny borders were quilted with a dark navy blue thread on the black fabrics.
This also includes the wavy lines on the bottom section of the quilt.
I used a medium navy blue thread to quilt the swirls on the squares.

The same medium navy blue was used on the paths to quilt the double ribbons.

 The back of the quilt.

I really had fun quilting this quilt. As you can see I got carried away taking photos as I bunched up and moved the quilt around to take shots are different angles.

I finished my quilt with a black binding.
And one more full view of the Paths of Life Quilt.
Enjoy your day!

Very pretty quilt, aptly named. Saw my first long arm quilt machine in operation just last Saturday.

How beautiful! I can't believe how fast you get things done! How long does it take you to get the quilt on the frame and ready to go? Thanks for linking!

Your quilting makes this outstanding. Looking at the back really allows you to appreciate the different patterns you used and how well they worked together. I love this quilt.
