May for Me Prizes Going out in the Mail on Monday!

The first week the prize was my Summer Tomatoes Quilt Pattern! Congrats Elizabeth!

The May for Me Prize for the 2nd week was Your choice of Charms.  Two winners and both have been contacted, but only one has replied. Joy and Kathy were the winners.

This is a photo of what the winner selected for her colors and I added a few more charms! All the charms are cut from the Quilter's Blenders Extra Wide Fabrics.Congrats Joy!

I also participated in the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day!  The prizes were 2 Summer Tomatoes Quilt Patterns. Lia and Wendy were the winners.

The 3rd May for Me Prize was a Surprise 72 count Charm Pack and Binding Fabric and Backing Fabric! I sent 85 Charm Squares and 330" of binding and  56" X 108" for the backing fabric. Look at all the Quilter's Blenders.  There are a few in there that are discontinued colors. Congrats Michele!

The 4th May for Me Prize was another "Surprize 100 Charm Pack".  I sent 100 Charm Squares and 312" of binding and  54" X 108" for the backing fabric. Congrats Vicki! I added some of the neutral texture prints that I carry in the extra wide fabrics to this charm pack.
  

The "Surprize Charm Packs" aren't a surprize any more! I had fun creating them. I will definitely do them again as a Giveaway! 

The last day of the May for Me Celebration Giveaway was a Downloadable PDF Pattern.  The winner is Maureen!

This year, I took two weeks off to be with my family for a "stay at home vacation".  I crawled around on my floors most of the time with my grandson.  He is very close to taking a few steps!  We thought he might take his first steps alone while he was in the US. He is not ready yet.

I took a little time to sew early in May, but not enough. 

I remind myself that the May for Me Celebration is just a yearly reminder to take time to play every day!

Next year, more Giveaways and more time to play!

I am working on uploading and converting all my tutorials and patterns from my blog into PDF Downloadable patterns for you. It makes it really convenient to have them on your own computer or print them out. All of them are at very reasonable prices and some are free.

My plan right now, is to offer a new free pattern every 2 months on my Craftsy Store.  Currently, it is the Twisted Rail Fence Quilt Block for May and June.  Go get it now, as in July, it will be a $1.00. I can not contact Maureen as she is a "No Reply Commenter".... So I can not get in touch with her through an email reply.  I will post a link to this post on Facebook and hopefully I can get in touch with Maureen in that way.

This happens a lot with Giveaways.  People have their settings on no reply or something like that. As bloggers, we can't even reply to their comments when they leave a comment on our blogs.  Check your settings everyone to see if you can be replied to. 

My next post will be photos of the May for Me prizes.  Two of the May for Me Giveaways were "Surprise" Charm Packs and one was a winner's choice!  This was fun for me to make assortments of the Quilter's Blenders Charms.  Winners will be able to combine them with their print fabrics and the Blenders will blend right in! I am sure I will do the "Surprise" Charm Packs" again.

Congratulations to the 2 Winners of the 2nd Giveaway for the May for Me Celebration!

It was a charming Giveaway! .... Meaning the winners will choose their charm square colors for their set of 42 charm squares. They will choose from the Quilter's Blenders Fabrics on my website and I will cut the charms specially for each winner. On my website the Quilter's Blenders Fabrics start at Teal Blue...

The Quilter's Blenders were designed to blend with other fabrics.  I used a colorful print for this quilt in the next photo.  I selected Quilter's Blenders to coordinate with the print.
