Project Quilting's Challenge Two is Making Music. My brother, Mark wrote a beautiful song named "Keep on Dreaming". When I first listened to the song I said to him, "That would be a great song to quilt!" --- I wasn't exactly sure what I meant... I guess it was the way the song flowed. I love to sing it while I am quilting. I picked out the fabrics yesterday. I selected a sky fabric, a star fabric, and a black and white fabric to create the background for my quilt.
A little pressing and then some very careful wavy cutting with the rotary cutter.
I learned how to cut and sew together wavy lines at a mini class that I took at Quilts by Barb's Quilt Retreat a couple years ago. Sorry, I can't explain it, but there are many books out there that give you instructions on how to cut and how to sew it. I just wanted to show you what I was doing to create my quilt.
We learned how to sew it, so that it lays perfectly flat and smooth.

My background is pressed and ready for tomorrow, when I take a few more minutes for me to create.
