Getting Up Close with Special Swirl Quilting

Special area swirls are perfect for filling triangles and all sorts of blocks.  The swirls soften the sharp lines of a triangle and fill it with a little bit of swirly motion. My customers want the quilting to look unique and the swirls are the perfect design element!

It's amazing how swirls look different on each block and each quilt.  It really adds a little swirly pizazz to your quilt!

Anne has a wonderful Monday quilting word game on her blog today! Check it out http://rubyslipperz106.blogspot.com/2011/06/five-fat-quartersgiveaway-why.html

and then come back and enter the drawing at:

2 winners and 2 prizes!
Please share it, tweet it, and blog it!

Thanks!   Marcia

I always enjoy seeing your work on various quilts - can feel your heart into each stitch.

I didn't realize just how much I love swirls until I saw this post! Beautiful quilts.

I was thinking about you and your quilting today as I was taking a shower. (Yes, I do all my deep thinking while there...it's my only time to myself!)

I was wondering what you would do with a dresden quilt. (I am working on a charity pair of them right now). And what do you do...go and put a photo up of a dresden!
